October is Fall Car Care Month! We don't face harsh winter weather here in Arizona, but it's still a good time to make sure all of the maintenance on your vehicle is up to date. Here's a few items you should check:

1. Brakes

Check your brake system on your vehicle and make sure everything is in good condition. You may also want to consider getting a brake system flush. A brake system flush will remove pre-existing fluid and replace it with new fluid. It helps your brakes to preform properly and extends their lifespan.

2. Battery

Batteries are another important item to check on your vehicle. Check the fluid level, wipe away corrosion and clean the surfaces. If your battery needs to be replaced, don't delay. Otherwise you may end up stranded, nowhere near an Arizona auto shop.

3. Tires

Bald tires are dangerous, especially in an Arizona rain storm. Make sure there's no uneven wearing. Replacing the tires on your vehicle if needed may seem like a hefty investment, but it's well worth it. It'll keep you safe, and you'll be less likely to get in an accident and damage other areas of your vehicle.
