Due to it's top of the line safety features, the 2015 Dodge Charger has earned a superior rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in front crash prevention testing.
One of the 2015 Dodge Charger's most notable safety features is the Full Speed Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation. According to Dodge, the system is able to determine if a frontal impact is about to happen. Dodge also states that if a frontal impact is going to occur, the system will take steps to alert the driver.
According to the FCA US News Update, the Full Speed Forward Warning with Crash Mitigation system available in the 2015 Dodge Charger meets the NHTSA criteria for forward collision warning and in the 12 mph test it avoided a collision.
