The RAM 1500 has been on sale, visually unchanged since 2009, and while that's quite a while in automotive terms, that doesn't mean that the American truckmaker have been resting on their laurels. From model year to model year, they've employed minor changes to the truck's inner workings to make it an even more formidable beast.
RAM has realized that there's more to a work truck than the capability of its platform and engine lineup. Luckily, the 1500 offers a whole lot of that, regardless of whether you choose the V6, EcoDiesel, or HEMI V8. The real ticket comes with its ride and handling, which is quite a bit softer than any of the other trucks in its field. It also comes with one of the most efficient diesel engines in the field, the EcoDiesel V6.
