The Ram Truck brand was proud to be the "exclusive automotive partner of the 142nd Kentucky Derby" and Churchill Downs earlier this month for the seventh year.

Those attending the races were completely immersed in the Ram Truck brand experience. Ram had on-site displays and giveaways at the Derby this year, and the vehicles chosen to transport the garland of roses to the champions were the Ram ProMaster work vans.

In addition being onsite at the races, Ram had two television ads running on the NBC network telecast. They also created a custom video for the Derby that they posted to their social channels and website.

PR News Wire reported that Mike Manley, Head of Ram Brand, FCA - Global said, "Ram trucks are the perfect match for horse owners, trainers and handlers, and being associated with America's premiere racing events is a great way to illustrate our support for these customers."

Manley also said, "With best-in-class towing of 31,210 pounds, best-in-class payload of 7,390 pounds, and best-in-class torque at 900 lb.-ft., plus a wide-range of special features including trailer tow technologies, Ram has the most capable trucks on the market to make the lives of horse people easier and safer for towing their horses."
