There are many small children out and about who may not know the rules of the road or who are too distracted to look for cars.
Because of this, be sure to be extra careful and to be scanning for children constantly as you drive on Halloween night. If you're the parent of children, be sure that you go over the rules of the road with your kids and to make sure that they have all the necessary tools to stay visible. Reflective tape, glow sticks, and flashlights in the bottom of candy buckets are all effective ways to be seen. Be sure to also drop kids at the curb rather than on the street.
