What is the Ram 1500 Classic?

When you look at the new Ram inventory at Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale, you may notice the Ram 1500 and the Ram 1500 Classic. What's the difference?

The Ram 1500 Classic is actually the previous generation for the Ram 1500 truck. Ram engineers kept this version around, as it costs less than the Ram 1500. There are fewer trims as well, with the three being the Tradesman, Express, and Warlock.  

These trims are great for drivers who are focused more on the power of their vehicles than the high-tech creature comforts touted on the Ram 1500. While those are attractive amenities, Ram realized that not all truck buyers want or need those.  The Ram 1500 Classic models are also great for the shopper on a tighter budget who still wants a quality new truck!
